C. TAD DEVLIN -
PRODUCER DIRECTOR |
| C. Tad
Devlin has worked as a photographer producer/writer/director
for clients such as IBM, Standard Register Company, Cincinnati
Zoo, Pontiac, Schoenling Beer, and Frigidair. He entered the
motion picture industry in 1972, and since then has worked on
over fifty major film and television projects. Mr. Devlin's
more recent credits include "George of the Jungle", "D3:
The Mighty Ducks", "When a Man Loves a Woman", "Sleeping With
the Enemy", "Crazy People", "The Morning After", "The Judds -
Love Can Build a Bridge", "The Switch", "For Their Own
Good" and "My Last Love". Personal interests range
from Carpentry, Sailing, Photography to Computer Programming,
Gardening, and Physical
Sciences. |

CAROLINE WOOD -
WRITER |
|
Caroline was born
in Yorkshire England and immigrated to the United States at
the age of ten with her parents and siblings in 1963. Caroline
owned a bookshop and café in Longview, Washington and for ten
years and it was there she wrote, produced and directed twelve
plays. The Immigrant Garden was her first play and the others
soon followed. Along with The Immigrant Garden, her plays The
Orchard and Dear Angelica have been performed in New York play
festivals. After selling the bookshop Caroline continues to
write new plays and produce them at the regional theatre in
Longview. The Immigrant Garden is Caroline’s first film.
From the very
beginning I always knew I would write The Immigrant Garden
novel and a I’m falling in love all over again. Making the
film has been one of the hardest and most rewarding things I
have done. I’m proud of the work we all did to make it
happen." Caroline has two grown children and three
grandchildren and lives with her husband Dean beside the
Columbia River in their turn of the century farmhouse with
their two dogs and three
cats. |

DIANA DEVLIN -
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR |
| Diana
serves as mediator between Tad and everyone else. Also, when
she is not taking care of her plants, fish, cat, and office
staff, she works for the company as production coordinator and
office manager. Before she and Tad moved to Washington, she
worked as an executive assistant to the production heads of
Lorimar Television and Paramount Pictures. Her interests
include gardening, quilting, photography, art, sailing, and
script reading. |

ALBERT EDMOND LORD
III - ASSOCIATE PRODUCER |
| Albert
has over 25 years experience in the sound industry. He has
recieved eight Emmy nominations, seventeen Golden Reel (MPSE)
nominations, one Emmy award and the 1997 DGA award as
supervisingsound editor on the award winning short A Guy
Walks Into A Bar. Albert agreed to work on the
Immigrant Garden because of the company's mission
statement and his own personal commitment to supporting strong
films using new media
technologies. |

GREGG M. CAMPBELL - CINEMATOGRAPHER |
| Gregg M.
Campbell studied mass communications at Lower Columbia College
and worked for the College newspaper writing many article's.
Soon, he joined the staff of KLVR, the College radio station
and produced his own radio show. In 1974 Gregg was involved
with the development of the Longview Kelso Public Access
Station KLTV. Currently, a full time employee at Weyerhaeuser,
he produces videos for the company. He has also produced
videos for The Columbia Theatre, Century Communications,
Womack Productions, Crystal River Film & Video, and the
Longview and Kelso School Districts. From 1979--84 Gregg
served as a Cowlitz County Reserve Deputy involved with the
Mount St. Helens Search and Rescue. Gregg also works for The
Grucci Fireworks Family and has worked on many Fireworks shows
in Las Vegas. Personal interest's: His Marriage to Theresa who
shares with him two great kids Chelsea and Andy, Traveling,
Reading, Computers, Movies, Fixing things, spending time at
the Family Beach house.

STEPHEN GRAZIANO -
COMPOSER |
| Stephen
has many film and television credits to his name. "The reason
I chose to be involoved with The Immigrant Garden is
because of the charming depiction of the turn-of-the-century
America. It's rare when one gets the opportunity to score a
character driven film." |

MICHAEL D. DUQUETTE -
PRODUCTION DESIGNER |
| Michael
lives in Winlock Washington where he specializing in carving
images in stone and foam. His is also the owner of Dimensional
Art and Sign Co. He works with design software in applications
that range from screen printing, photographic manipulation and
typesetting, logo design and custom generated art. Mr.
Duquette enrolled in Mr. Devlin’s Film Production class at
Centralia Community College where he became involved with The
Immigrant Garden as a class project. Michael is married and
has two sons. (In his own words what is was like working on
the film, what he learned from it..etc)

DENISE KEEGAN -
COSTUME DESIGNER |
| Denise
has worked with costumes and costume design since 1983 when
she directed a national program focusing upon the history of
women in sports. Her work with that program earned h the title
of 1988 Washington State Outstanding Young Woman by the
Outstanding Young Women of America. She was named as one of
"80 for the 80's" by They Olympian in 1989 for her leadership
in the Olympia community. She owns Creative Costume and
Rental, a costume rental business in Olympia, Washington,
where she provides a wide variety of contemporary and
historical costumes for her customers. She is a graduate of
St. Martins College and earned a Masters degree from the
Evergreen State College. She lives in Olympia with her
husband, Chris, and their three children - Kellee, Chris, and
Kaycee. Denise became involved in The Immigrant Garden through
her passion for vintage clothing, her knowledge of costume
history, and a substantial garment collection from the early
1900's. |

JAMIE KLINE -
EDITOR |
| Jamie
lives in Centralia and went to Centralia High School and after
graduation attended Central Community College where she
graduated with an A.A degree. Jamie loves to travel. "I like
being going out of my comfort zone and experiencing different
cultures. It’s exciting to see how people in different places
live." |

PETER APPLETON -
CONSULTING EDITOR |
| Peter has
worked on numerous commercials and motion pictures. "I was
taken by the unusual short play by Caroline Wood and the fact
that they had developed it into a screenplay. The story and
the freshness of the young actors and the almost naive
hopefullness of the movie's theme and the filmmakers
themselves made me want to get
involved." |

SARAH MEZGER-

| Sarah has been a Longveiw resident since her birth in
1976. After graduating from Morris High School, she attended
Washington State University; where she majored in Broadcast
Communication. Sarah is excited to be a part of Northwest
Films' growing work community. |

| A professional
"C.B.er.", Diana spent several years in the roller derby
circut. She also studies in the art of public speaking for
chimpanzees. Just kidding. Diana is an entrepreneur, world
traveler, a published writer, and will work for food. She
studies in film and broadcast production. She attended Bates
and Green River College, T.C.C. |

JULIA VAN PAEPEGHEM - SET
DECORATOR |
| Julia has
loved films since she was a little girl growing up in Southern
California. When the opportunity for Julia to work as a set
decorator on the Immigrant Garden came up Julia was working a
ten-hour day as a paralegal and would come on the set and work
until the work was done. "It is the little details that I
enjoy while watching a film so creating an English turn of the
century sitting room was a most invigorating and creative
challenge. It is my hope to continue to be involved in the
process of filmmaking. What I learned from my involvement in
this process is that I can do anything my heart desires, even
in Chehalis!" |

JESSICA VAN AUKEN - ART
DIRECTOR |
| Jessica
grew up in a small town in Lewis County, then moved to
Chehalis. Her background in art and design helped her get
roped into this project. She has been a graphic designer for
many years, and took art classes all through school and into
college. Jessica has her own design business and has always
enjoyed art. So she got involved in NFP's art department
originally to design key props and oversee the general art
department. She quickly grew to understand the business of
Indie films. She also filled in wherever needed, as set
decorator, grip, boom operator, etc, etc. "This project was a
great experience for me, personally and artistically. I was
able to expand my skills, learn new ideas, and carry those on.
I am thankful for the experience I gained from and the people
I met on this project. I will carry the memories with me
forever. |

WIN EZELL - ASSISTANT
DIRECTOR |
| Win is a
musician actor who graduated from Centralia College and can be
seen about town as an entertainer. He appears in the film as
the manager of Oakville Hardware who loves to go fishing with
Arthur. His significant other is Christi and has two
fun-loving children. |

KEITH MARSHALL -
SPECIAL EFFECTS |
| Keith has
worked in theatre since the eighth grade. He has acted in or
crewed for more than a dozen plays. He won an award for his
special effect work in the play, You Can’t Take It With You.
He has worked on amateur film productions in various forms,
writing, directing and producing. Keith attends TV and Film
production courses at the University of Washington. Keith is a
Sci-Fi enthusiast and runs and the video production department
for the Northwest sci-fi convention. He is at this time Web
Master for the convention as well as a year 2000 researcher
for the Weyerhaeuser Company. |

FLOYD SMITH - GLIDE

| Floyd is
an adventurer, along with scuba diving, sky diving, mountain
climbing, motorcycle racing and flying airplanes, Dr. Smith is
a physician in Centralia Washington. Floyd enjoys photography
and taking videos. He was a student of Mr. Devlin’s in The
Film Production class at Centralia Community College and there
it was he became involved with The Immigrant Garden. He was
behind the camera for another class project, a documentary on
the B-17 Bomber. He is planning a documentary for the hospital
in Centralia. |

SUSAN SPAIN -
ASSISTANT TO MS. WOOD |
| Susan
Spain lives in Longview Washington and is mother of two
beautiful daughters and three stepsons and eleven
grandchildren and one new puppy. She is also a bookkeeper and
provides day care for preschool children who are in need of
love and fun. Her joys are spending time with her family and
friends and traveling." My back yard is the pride and joy of
my leisure time, it is filled with flowers and native plants."
Susan belongs to the Seattle Peace Chorus and ushers at the
Columbia Theatre in Longview. So Susan put all this on hold
when she worked on her first film project, The Immigrant
Garden. She enjoyed the new experience and would love to do it
again. |

JOHN BECK - SCRIPT
SUPERVISOR |
| John Beck
is a graduate of the Evergreen State College, where he studied
film, video, graphics, theater, and art. He works for the
Olympia Film Society and for the Olympia Film Ranch. He
produced a documentary called, "Try This¼." About Olympia’s
activist and music scenes. He has crewed and acted in many
short films. The Immigrant Garden was John’s first stint as
Script Supervisor. He is currently now on his second ‘stint’
of Script Supervising for an independent film being shot in
Africa. |

SUE JENSEN -
CLOGGING DANCE INSTRUCTOR |
| The
Immigrant Garden is the first film Sue has worked on, although
she has choreographed high school musicals for years,
everything from the Pirates of Pinzance to God Spell and
Grease. " I love teenagers and I love dancing." She had an
award winning dance team at Centralia High School for two
years. " I am now in the process of trying to figure out what
I want to do when I grow up. Sue got in there and rolled her
sleeves up on the set, if she wasn’t on the top of a letter
attaching a clamp to something she was picking up
lunch. |

BECKY WALDRON - HORSES AND
VINTAGE CARRIAGES |
| Becky
works in the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. Becky
is a member of Hames & Tugs, a driving club where horse
owners learn to drive their horses and vintage carriages. She
is the proud owner of Memory Lane Carriages, her horse and
carriages driven by her at that spectacular touch to weddings
and anniversaries. The Immigrant Garden is the first film
Becky has worked in. She trailed her horse and buggy to the
various sets and was on sight for all the scenes where her
horse, Joe was pulling a buggy or cart. She found the
experience very interesting and can’t wait to see the film.

ANTHEA LAWRENCE - BIRTHDAY PARTY BAND |
| Specializing in Celtic and American musical traditions,
Anthea and her band played the birthday party band in "The
Immigrant Garden." They play a lively concert of Irish dance
music and ballads, or get toes tapping with old-time American
hoe-downs, waltzes and barn dances. Whatever your musical
preference, Anthea will add an extra element of fun and
excitement to your event! |

was the Set Costume Supervisoron the Immigrant Garden.
She has also made costumes on many local productions and
loves her work. |

DEBORAH SISCO - TOM'S
MOM'S CASTING |
| It all
started when Tom, who works for Northwest Film Projects,
called his mom and asked her if she would be interested in
finding Extras for a period film. She jumped at the chance and
fell in love with working with Extras. She was able to supply
over 200 extras dressed in period 1910 clothes. Deborah has a
medical background as an ER nurse and says that working with
extras is very similar to the ER "You have a lot of people
with a variety of problems that need attention and you work
with them to solve them." Deborah has two adult sons, Scott,
who is attending school at Western Washington University and
Tom who works at NFP and a 15 year old daughter, Lena, still
at home. Deborah has been married to her husband, Van, for 23
years. They love to travel and go camping. Deborah is very
active and involved in her church and sings in the
choir. |

TOM SISCO - PRODUCTION SOUND |
| J. Thomas
Sisco graduated from R.A. Long High School in Longview
Washington in 1998. In high school Mr. Sisco worked beneath
Theatrical Director Dana Brown for three years as Technical
Director for Mainstage Theatre. After graduation Tom attended
school in Portland Oregon, The Technical Institute where he
majored in Electronic Engineering Technology. In January 1999
Tom enrolled in Mr.Devlins’ Film Production class at Centralia
Community College. "This is more than just a job, it is a
learning experience; a film school."

| Tyler
Smith is 23 years old and lives in Enumclaw on an Arabian
horse ranch where he has spent his entire life. He is an
assistant manager of an electronics company, "but would
definitely like getting more involved in the film industry and
was glad to be able to work on The Immigrant
Garden." |

WEBMASTER |
| Aaron is currently a senior at Centrlia High
School/freshman at Centralia College through the Running Start
program. "This job has been a great experience for me, but not
just an experience, it has given me a flicker of hope from the
desperation I once felt." |
 |
TERRI ALLEN -
DIGITAL EFFECTS COORDINATOR |
| Born and raised in the Seattle area Teri has been
involved in art from a very young age. During high school she
studied oil painting under the late renowned artist Leon
BeRoth and has been a freelance artist ever since. Her
projects have included sculpture, painting, portraits, murals,
black and white photography, photo tinting, makeup for photo
and film shoots, interior decorating, and designing CD covers
and business stationary. Teri graduated with highest honors
from Green River Community College with an Associate Degree in
Art and Certificate in Multimedia Design with a 4.0 grade
point average and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She worked
on the college Kiosk project and trained in Typography, 3-D
Animation, Web Page Design, Computer Programming, Digital
Photography, Audio and Video using both Mac and Windows
operating systems and a variety of software. Teri, now a
resident of Enumclaw is restoring a turn of the century
farmhouse and preparing acreage for horse boarding. She has
also been involved in community service and fund
raising. |
